As the player advances to higher levels, the player's base score is multiplied by x0.5, which increases with every level however, more points will be required to progress to the later levels. There is no time limit per level, as the player advances to the next level when the bar at the bottom of the board is filled as you play. In Bejeweled 2, these special gems are Power Gems and Hypercubes, whereas in Bejeweled 3 and Bejeweled Classic, they are Flame Gems, Star Gems, Supernova Gems, and Hypercubes. The gameplay is very basic, with only the basic gems and special gems.
